MI Sales Tax Interest Rate
Program: MI Sales Tax Express Program
The interest rate due on underpayments/overpayments to State of Michigan has been changed. The interest rate has changed to 9.50% effective for the period beginning July 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024. To update the Interest Rate in MI Sales Tax Express 2024:
1. From within MI Sales Tax Express 2024 click on Setup
2. Click on Configuration
3. Click on Defaults
4. In the Annual Interest Rate field 7/1/24 - 12/31/24 change rate to 9.50
5. Click OK
